He believes this will be a very valuable and interesting experience for him as this will mark his first time “executing another type of script”. Balancing the precision of coding with the creativity of performance, Chun is excited to explore this artistic avenue and bring a fresh perspective to the stage.

David Ng
吳宗泰
During David’s audition for “Harmony the Musical”, he remarked to the production team that it was the first time he sang Cantopop at an audition. With more of his performing experience being in classical music, he is more comfortable with singing the Cantopop oldies, as he resonates with the poetry written by the lyricists of the 1970s and 1980s. Besides singing, David enjoys exploring the mountains of Alberta and around the world, cooking for his young family, and discovering different cuisines this great wide world has to offer. When you see him on the mountains after the hiking season though, you may want to give him a wide berth on the ski slopes, as he is known among his friends as a daring, though not necessarily graceful skier!

Malachi Chan
陳恩樂
Malachi has always been interested in music and arts, as he loves to sing, dance, and currently enjoys playing both the piano and violin. Although he is only 9 years old, Malachi has also taken an interest in learning languages, already being able to fluently speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He is currently studying the Chinese bilingual program with the Calgary Board of Education. This year, Malachi is part of the Intermediate Piano Academy Program, as well as the Concertino Strings Junior Orchestra at Mount Royal Conservatory. With his skills and determination, Malachi enjoys sharing his music with others, having played piano for his school’s Christmas concert and at several nursing homes. He was part of the Cantare Children’s Choir, and sang a solo part with the Calgary Chinese Oratorio Society in spring 2023.
Malachi has been a recipient of a first place award and scholarship in the Grade 6 class at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival in 2022. He also won second place in the Grade 6 & 7 class at the 2022 Alberta Provincial Music Festival. Malachi is the Lois Webber Memorial Scholarship recipient from the 2023 Calgary Performing Arts Festival. In June 2024, Malachi won numerous first prizes in the Level 9 Piano Solo in the OYMI Outstanding Young Musicians International Music Festival.
When Malachi is not performing music, he is performing in dance! He was part of a competitive dance group which won third overall prize in the Dance Invasion competition in spring 2022.
Malachi truly enjoys spending every moment with the outstanding Harmony Musical cast and production team. His other hobbies include board games, skating and playing soccer with his friends and schoolmates.

Abby Kan
簡焯瑩
Abby’s passion for music goes way back—she started singing in school and church choirs at just 7 years old. Outside the theatre, she loves exploring other creative outlets and finding new ways to express herself. Abby’s super grateful to be part of such a talented cast and crew, and she’s excited to keep growing as a performer. She can’t wait to see where this artistic journey takes her next!

Annora Tung
董銘愛
Annora's musical experience was limited to singing in the shower and school and university choir, and she have won a solo singing championship in her high school once, until fate—and a move from Hong Kong to Calgary—stepped in. Three days after settling into her new Canadian life, she found herself auditioning for a musical. Surprisingly (even to herself), she got in!
Annora has thoroughly enjoyed playing with the cast members over the past few months, soaking up every bit of this new adventure. She'd like to thank her family for supporting her in this unexpected leap into musical theatre, proving that it’s never too late to chase those high school dreams—no matter how many years (or how many children) later!
